Our general philosophy on DFW area investment property is to buy single family or 1/2 duplexes, less than $150,000, less than 20 years old, in great school districts. They are normally 3 or 4 bedrooms with 2 baths and with a 1 or 2car garage. We like homes in cities known for having great schools like Coppell, Flower Mound, Frisco, Grapevine, and Keller.
